ARNEL's JOURNEY

It was about 6:00 in the afternoon when somebody called me from St. Matthew Funeral Homes. I was informed that somebody, who I later learned was Rexie, the sister of Arnel Jaramilla, wanted to do a project, a photo-video production of the funeral of his brother. It is at my friend's funeral homes where I outpour this passion. No wonder there were so many who likes the services, it is because it's a product of love and passion that motivates us to do things, it is to the spirit of giving sharing with the grief and sympathy of others that propels us to document important event such as this. We were just, but a creation of of God whom he uses to express this outpour of passion for others to benefit.

Arnel B. Jaramilla is a very simple person. A low key employee of the Bureau of Internal Revenue, yet so loved by his co-workers. No less than Commissioner Parayno, who happens to be once a junior cadet of my uncle, Gen. Emilio S. Luga, Jr., at the Academy (PMA), paid his last respect to this man. The last time I met Commissioner Parayno was during the Ramos Administration. It's beside the point anyway. Other than Commissioner Parayno countless of Arnel's officemates were there too. At the Church, Arnel's close friends, classmates and relatives since childhood in Bangued, Abra where present to pay their last respect to this wonderful person, who touches the lives of so many.

Arnel was survived by his wife, Carol and his son Ron-Ron. His sisters Mila Sorrera, Rexie Agarpao, Gina Mandapat and his only brother Jomel Jaramilla, described Arnel as the "wind beneath their wings". Arnel has always been their Kuya. Manuelito "Ake" Villoria, Arnel's long time friend and classmate since childhood, described him as a quite, but a very thoughtful person. Arnel never forgotten to pay surprise visit to his friends whenever he is in Bangued, although how brief he stays. There were lot of Arnel's best friends who prefers to remain anonymous, but has given their unblemished support to Arnel's family in their time of grief. Anna Marie Torres, sought to it that Arnel's last day in this earthly world be documented properly by an exprerienced and professional documentor. Arnel's long time friends Raul Peig, Rofel Valencia and family, and his batchmates at DWCB Batch 82' were also there until Arnel's final day to his resting place.

For all of Arnel's friends, classmates, officemates and relatives who shared with his family the grief of losing Arnel, Arnel's family and immediate relatives wishes to convey their heartfelt thanks.

To Arnel upon whom this presentation is dedicated:
